Dear Dnnhero,

I want to set a hyperlink on a flag, which redirects to another site. But when I do that and try it out, it redirects me to page404 (error page).

All other hyperlinks works, just not this to this website. What could it be? Have you ever tried this?

Best regards

Benzo

Hi Benzo,

It can be that the URL to the other site is missing HTTP:// at the beginning of the URL.

Like HTTP://www.MySite.com - It should not be just www.MySite.com

Cheers,

Aderson

Hi Aderson, no it is not missing HTTP. But it is redirecting to same site, for example.

If my site name is www.example.com and I want to redirct a site by a hyperlink to www.example2.com/example2

Than the site is saying that the site do not exist, and I can see that it tried to redirect to www.example.com/example2

I hope you can see my point.

It would be great if I could see it.

In any case it might be that the site's editor is removing all domains from URLs like that.

Try setting up the Radeditor to use Absolute URLs: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?ID=20261&PROJID=2 - There is a step by step which may help you.

Regards,

Aderson

Hi, it had something to do with following:

I could not link to .com from my sub-domain, as it was sub-domain of the .com.

I hope that this can help someone in the future. If any questions, than just post and I will explain further.
