Thanks Dave  -  That's a new one.

I attempted many ways of putting scripts straight in HTML modules - some works and some don't.
(Ie; The old way of entering Google Analytics worked fine.)

In this case it's 2 scripts.
I will attempt to put the main one in the header - and then the display script straight in HTML body.

 Thanks Mate   -

Hi Guys!!

Both ways work!
I did Aderson's "Default.aspx" on one site, and Dave's "HTML Module Header" on another.

But what about "Rich Text Editor" versus "Basic Text Editor"?

I couldn't get it working in the "RTE", it seem to delete the Script rather than saving it?
Jumping over to "BTE" and entering the script - and it works fine.

However, should I get back in to the module and open the "RTE" - the script is immediately wiped out?

What is going on here?

Cheers

Olle...

Hi Olle,

If you need to add script on your page, add it to the "Header" field under the HTML module settings. This way you will not loose it every time you need to change it.

Don't add scripts into the HTML module.

Cheers,

Aderson

Hmmm, how does this apply here Aderson?  (See below)

One script should go in the header...

And another script wherever I want the GEO info to appear...

 With both in the header section I have no design / position options right?

Cheers Mate...

""""""Note: Because the location is taken from your IP address, the city location might not be 100% correct, but it will be very close. However, the Country and Region have a very high accuracy.
Step 2. Apply the script to your page
1. Add this code just before the </head> tag:
<--- <script src="http://j.maxmind.com/app/geoip.js"></script>  --->

2. Add the following line where you want to see the location information on your page
Note: You can wrap in a DIV or SPAN and use CSS to style it(text color, size, etc)
<--- <script>document.write(geoip_city()+", "+geoip_country_name());</script>  --->

Olle,

Add the one in the "page header" as I have mentioned before and the second one in the header field of the MODULE (not the header page)

Cheers,

Aderson
