Hi again guys.

We solved the issue with GEO location  -  Thanks to the genius here.

May I through in another challenge?

GEO Redirection?  See description below.
(Then I have "Exit Pop Ups" in the same format.)

The Geo-redirection script is a must-have for everyone who is dealing with international traffic. This will help you redirect the visitors to specific offers that are available in their countries based on IP geo-location, so you won't waste any traffic.

Features

  • easy to configure
  • you can have as many redirects as you want(no limitations)
  • 238 countries supported
  • uses Maxmind GeoLite Country database with an accuracy of 99.5%
  • database updated periodically
  • very fast, uses php for server-side redirection
  • no coding skills required for implementation
  • self hosted

Usage example

  1. You are using Twitter or Youtube as your traffic source. You manged to get traffic, but how to monetize effectively using CPA since you get visitors from all over the world and there are very very few good international offers? Get the best offers on your top traffic countries from your CPA network and use this script to drive traffic to them, a different offer for each country. This will skyrocket your earnings.

Cheers Guys  -  have a tremendous day!!!

No Aderson, I don’t think you have “slow days” - I’m very happy with a prompt response is here.

I am back after five or six days, and heck I can’t figure out what I was asking in the opening post here.

But this, as well as our previous discussion, is all about adding tools, functionality, to the website. Geographic announcement on the landing page, Geographic redirections after IP address – and the current one; Exit pop up screens on the site.

Here’s the JAVA Script for the Pop Up. (IF it comes across properly)

<script type="text/javascript" src="exit_pop/js/jquery.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="exit_pop/ep.js"> </script> <script type="text/javascript">$.noConflict();ExitPop('','Hey%20Mate%2C%0ADon%27t%20 miss%20this%20great%20opportunity%2C%20All%20you%20need%20to%20know %20to%20look%20after%20your%20body%20for%20a%20full%20year%20-%20and%20at%20a%20ridiculous%20bargain%20price% 20of%20%245.99%20only%0A',1)</script>

Putting this in the Defult.aspx totally stuffed up the site. Admin and Host menus were wrong and didn’t work, and the logout button disappeared.

By the way; This is; DotNetNuke Version:  07.00.04 (180)
And the Website is HERE;

QUESTIONS;
    How to get this code in on one page only?
    How to get a PopUp screen working on one particular page?
    Can it be done at all?

Hopefully this is a bit clearer Aderson.

Cheers Mate…

Hi Olle,

1 - To add to one page only just put in the module header (not page header) - this is how I would do;

2 - You are using a jquery on this script. If it is the same version as you have on dnn, then you don't need to put it on, but if it is different, the noconflic line SHOULD avoid problems. But I have seem problems even with this line. My suggestion is stick to scripts that work with the jquery version that your DNN site uses. If this is not the case for your script, then don't use it.

 Was afraid I should end up with that answer Aderson.  :)

Have you seen this program / or App?      http://prosper.tracking202.com/apps/

It is quite important tool for Affiliate Marketing, and i have LOTS OF PROBLEMS getting this going in DNN.

How can I send you some files Adersson?
In lack of better ways I will stick them in the root folder on the website here;

http://www.conniehansen.com/Prosper202A.jpg
http://www.conniehansen.com/Prosper202Code_FitnessMagazineLandingPage.txt

The initial Java Script here is essential for Prosper 202 Landing Page Tracking.
Are there any way at all to get this into DNN?

Cheers

Olle...
