Thanks Anderson for your Tutorial on this subject.

I just want to mention that you only scratch the surface of the 2sexyContent.

It's importent to use the 'right' Fieldtypes. In your example you use the string type for all Fields in the Contenttype you created. That's not the right way.

For the picture for instance you should choose the Hyperlink-type. Under Manage Contentype in the Edit-Column you'll have two links 'General' and 'Hyperlink' (or 'String' in your example) . 'General' allows you to create tooltips fo the endeditor. 'Hyperlink' allows you to choose for example the Image-Uploader. You can even choose the allowed path to pictures or their format. Same if you choosed a String type. You can choose multiline dropbox, or even html-editor.

So don't miss these great features.

By choosing 'Entity' as Fieldtype you can even 'nest' ealier created Contentypes with new one. and so on.

Thank you for the great tuts.

Hi Albert,

Interesting you say that because before hand I have tried to use the Hyperlink type in the hope that it would allow me to upload the image file, but that was not the result I got.

I may have to give it a second try.

Thank you for your feedback!

Cheers,

Aderson

Yes. It is a bit confusing. The checkbox for 'ShowImageManager' doesn't seem to take effect. You have to choose 'Image Manager' from the dropdown in 'Default Dialog'.
