I was wondering how I can tap into the Workflow of the ContentItems. I can see in the database how the States and Permissions are related, but is there a UserControl that exposes the ContentItems Workflow.

After release 7.4, we finally have a Workflow API that allows us to tap into the content item workflows and state. My next set (March/2015) will be on this topic.
