Hello,

I have a site where the details for a selected page on the 'page management' page are not displayed.

If I go to page management, the tree list of pages is displayed on the left. When I click a page in the list, the details for that page aren't displayed in the area to the right.

I've tried changing the skin for the page to 'Gravity - Home' and tested in I.E. and Chrome.

It works fine in the child portals of the same installation.

I'm running DNN  07.04.00 (353) upgraded from 07.03.04.

Has anyone had this issue? Any ideas what to do?

I think I may have posted this question in the forum before some time ago, though I couldn't find it by searching. So apologies if I'm repeating myself.

This issue leaves with an issue, I can't find an alternative way to reorder the pages in the menu. I guess I could alter the database but don't have access with the current host. So I guess that prompts another question, is there some other way to reorder pages in the menu other than using page management?

Best Regards,

Steve

Hi Steve,

I have not seem this before. However I recommend you to use fiddler and monitor what's going on when you click on a page on the left hand side.

You may find some useful information there which can lead to the cause of this problem.

Best regards,

Aderson

For anyone who might be interested, this issue has disappeared. The page details are now displayed and I can use the page management facility as intended.

I didn't knowingly do anything to fix it. Also, its been a while since I last checked it, so no idea what changed.

Now I just have to hope the issue doesn't reappear for no apparent reason again.

Hi Steve,

Very good to know. Maybe you have done that before but I should have recommended to make a small change to the web.config file and save it (just add a SPACE) so that it would force the App Pool to recycle.

A lot of problems we come through gets sorted out by just doing that.

Best regards,

Aderson
