The search input is not listed in the host/extension list. Only Search Results is listed. Is there a way I can add Search Input to my site? Thanks.
Hi Chris,
1 - Go to Host/Extensions.
2 - Find the "Search Input" module and click on edit;
3 - Make sure your portal is under the "Assigned" block;
I think that should take care of the problem.

I don't have any search input extensions available anywhere. Is there any way I can install it?
It seems that for whatever reason DNN got rid of the Search Input module on DNN 7.

I don't see a way around that other then to just use the search skin object. I think they will eventually get it back. Hopefully on version 7.2 which seems to bring search improvements as well.
Is there a way to use the skin object in a module? Maybe create a container or something? Thanks.
