Hello I am still trying to get a handle around DNN 9. in DNN 6 and 7 you could install modules and skins and then find the skin and module file by going to an ftp client like filezilla and find the actual module folder and files under desktop modules and skin files under portals/_default/_skins but now in DNN 9 I have installed lots of modules and a third party skin and wehn I go to via ftp to find the skin files or module folders they just don't exist yet they do exist as modules in DNN 9.
When you upload files and folders weather it be in the form of skis, modules or just simply uploading an image within DNN is DNN just simply wrapping the folder and file within the database without having a hard copy of the folder and files that can be found when logging into the site via ftp.
Basically I am trying to edit a third party skin file I have after uploading it and playing around with it but I can't find the skin file to play with and though I have the original skin file I don't know where to upload it on the ftp client and have DNN accept it since I can't find the skin and file folders on the actual file structure within my remote servier root (i.e. portals/_default/skins
