Hi Aderson,

I just watched your tip of the week on log files:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Fd5e2Pi-wo&feature=youtu.be

Checking a DNN8 installation on my local machine I can see the  'dotnetnuke.log4net.config' file sets log files at 'Portals/_default/Logs/'

But I can also see another directory contain logs which look like they're generated by IIS, I put a sample below.

I'm not sure what use they are, but they are taking up a lot of space, (742Mb).  Are these configurable somewhere?

I installed this particular site using nvQuickSite by the way, these log files are located at the top level with database and website as sibling directories.

Best Regards,

Steve

Hi Steve,

nvQuickSite setus up IIS with logs under a different folder as compared to when you do it manually directly on IIS.

I'm quite sure you can disable that log on the AppPool on IIS.

Try this: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...

Best regards,

Aderson
