Hi Aderson

I have a few clients who maintain their own content in DNN sites with no HTML/coding experience.  They often end up with formatting issues that they can't easily fix.  For example, they want "single spaced" lines of text but when they hit the enter key DNN puts in a <p> which places a "double space."  Also, when they cut text from Word sometimes the formatting is copied with it.  Also, after many updates to a piece of HTML content using the Rich Text editor they end up with a lot of extraneous code that they don't see but it's there.  So, is there any simplified content editor that would help people like this to format HTML content easier and better?  Thanks.

Hi Chris,

I think we are out of luck here so far. Both Rad Editor (phasing out) and CKEditor (coming in) have those issues. They have some markup cleaning tool on the toolbar but can only do so much.

I think at this point it is about educating clients on "what if this happens... then do that....".

I don't use the editor either most of the time. I just get the HTML from outside and paste it in. No patience to deal with them.

Sorry, I know this is not super useful.

Aders
