Hi can anyone help?

With sites I design using DNN 6.02.09 I experienced very slow initial load times.

I also use the Alertra.com to ping the keepalive.aspx page every 5 mins but I still find the initial load time is very slow.

An example would be http://www.jagfreight.com/

This is very off putting for clients is there a way I can eliminate this initial slow load time?

thanks

Charlie

Hi Charlie,

I haven't seen users complaining much about this issue anymore on DNN although it used to be a big problem many years ago.

I recommend you to check the memory available to your site with your hosting provider. That can play a part.

I recommend checking some videos about performance and an article about the same topic as well:

I created a DNN site in Azure and it takes about 20 seconds to load. That is not excessive but it is noticeable.

Hi Sam,

Personally I don't have experience with DNN on Azure, but here are two links that may shed some light:

2 - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13...

Cheers,
