Hi guys,

I wanted to create a new template with our custom made module on them by default.

Our current DNN version is: 07.04.01 (280)

I copied  the default template from Portals\_default\Templates to \Portals\10\Templates 

Then I renamed it to CustomChildParent.page.template I was expecting to get my new template in page creation pop up window's template ddl -> template folder

But how ever, this drop down list does not load any other template but Default template.

I copied my new template into Portals\_default\Templates as well, but did not change anything.

I cleared the cache, recycled IIS, still not getting my new template in page creation.

I want to have a page with two column, left narrow pane, to show all child pages link of the parent (current) page.

Then by clicking on each child's page link, it should load the content of child page (will have HTML module) in the right wider column (pane)

I have googled for it, but could not find any clue but: http://www.dnncreative.com/Forum/tabid/88/aft/12623/Default.aspx

Making the .template in capitalized letter as .TEMPLATE did not work either.

I would appreciate any one could help me please.

Thanks for replying.

I tried to sync the files and folders in host level, I got an error in pop up window, saying  "The ObjectContent'1 type failed to serialize the response body for content type 'application/json charset=utf-8'"

However, I can see my template are in the template folder, in both host and admin level in file manager, it was not visible in page creation pop up, after I recycled IIS, it is now working fine.
