I have a new install of DNN 9 [installed by managed.com]

It had the RadEditor and it did not allow me to add images or documents. It says "Cannot deserialize dialog parameters. Please refresh the editor page."

Turns out the install did not include the correct editor. They have now added the CKeditor.

However, the new editor does not seem to have all the basic features I need. The Font Size only has a few options, not the complete list. I tried the Custom Editor Options but if I select FULL, it does not change anything. I don't want to have to make the font changes in the source all the time.

Please please please help

Hi Rod,

Go to this file \Portals\0\Dnn.CKEditorSettings.xml - Look for 2.3em - replace with the values you want to show up on the list.

Cheers,

Aderson

OK, so I followed your instructions but changing the code in the correct file in Portal 0 did not work.  I have several domains on my DNN install.  When I changed the code in that file in the portal I am working with, I successfully made the change and my font sizes are now showing up.

However, when I try the editor in a different portal, the changes do not show up.  I made the same changes in that portal but it had no effect.  Is it possible to make a global change to the editor?

Hi Rod,

You have to go to that file on each portal (/portals/[PORTAL-ID]/Dnn.CKEditorSettings.xml) and make the change there. I don't see how to do it globally at once.

Cheers,

Aderson
