Hi

I found this article https://www.dnnhero.com/Premium/Tutorial/ArticleID/16

That refers to using DNN as an Intranet

I wonder if anyone has done this

We have the ability to generate Virtual Machines and would welcome any guidance of default requirement

I know some 3rd party modules do not need licencing when run on a local machine, does and Internal IP address work along those lines?

Also being an internal system would be great to use Active Directory as the authentication for user.

Any advice greatly received  :-)

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

1 - 3rd party modules will not behave as local machines on intranets - You need them licensed as it site was a regular public site. Sorry;

2 - I was not the one setting it up but we used this module http://store.dnnsoftware.com/home/product-details/active-directory-authentication-v35 for AD integration with a DNN 8 site and it works very well.

My 2 cents.

Cheers,

Aderson
