Hi Aderson

I wonder if you have seen the following issue. I have updated a site to dnn 7 and now cannot move the modules. I can add a new module but it gets added to the bottom of the pane.  If I move the module up it is ok until the page is refreshed.  I have seen others recommend a change to the web.config file but that hasnt helped.

Thanks for your help

Sharon

Hi Sharon,

I have not seen that yet. IS there any error logged under Admin/Event Viewer?

BTW, is the site public? If so, you could send me the URL and I could check it out.

Cheers,

Aderson

Thanks Aderson

the site is www.insidepensions.co.uk/Homesharon.aspx

there are no messages in the event log.

i also just selected the dark knight skin and the error occurs there too so I don't think it is the skin.

thanks again

sharon

Hi Aderson.

I finally got to the bottom of this. I went back to the hosting co powerdnn who said

DNN 7+ has a minimum requirement of Windows Server 2008, IIS 7.5, and .NET 4.0.

The server your site is currently hosted on is a Windows Server 2003 server, withIIS 6.0.
I migrated the site to another server and everything is working fine now.

I had seen the issue reported a couple of times so this might help someone :)

best wishes

sharon
