If you like minimalist sites with big image backgrounds like Bing, Team Viget, Union Station Neighborhood or Reverse Buro then this review is for you.
This week we have chosen a nice combination of module and skin if you want to achieve that kind of look. If you put together the Supersized Fullscreen Background Slideshow module and the Bootstrap 2 skin, both done by 365branding.com, this is the result you will be getting.
They are both very inexpensive and you might be able to achieve a super cool look for your site. Keep in mind that this will be as beautiful as the images you have chosen to feature. So don't expect miracles and make sure your images don't suck!
Here is the nice demo they have put together. According to the module settings snapshot you will also be able to put an ad copy on top of the images and specify the position. Each image will also enable a URL link from it, so you can redirect users to other parts of the site once they click. The top navigation in the skin will also help users to move around the site.
It is a nice combo! You should check it in case your site requires something a bit more edgy. I think this would be great for musicians, photographers, film makers, fashion and people in the artistic arena in general.
