DotNetNuke Modules and Skins Review | June 14, 2012 - June 21, 2012

I think that one of the first 3rd party modules I have used 6 years ago when I was starting with DNN was Dynamic Forms from Data Springs. I am truly a big fan of Chad Nash and his team (I can't forget how supportive Candace Santos is!). Their modules are a must for any DotNetNuke site. I have personally used Dynamic Forms, Opt In Email, Dynamic Registration, Dynamic Login and Dynamic Views. This week they are promoting their collection of modules and all these I have mentioned, and much more, come bundled with Data Springs Collection 5.0 (23 Modules). A real fine set you should not miss.

Still on the module subject, I'm all about innovation and trying different things. This week I also saw an interesting module from a new seller called Layer Slider Nuke. It allows multilayered banners to be created. Instead of having me trying to put into words what this module does, it is better if you just check their demo and see for yourself what I'm saying layerslidernuke.com. - Too bad it doesn't have a trial version.

Every week when I'm about to review the list of new skins I keep wishing that more and more sellers get the perfect score, but there is one particular seller that I know he always gets that and I'm talking about Tracy Wittenkeller from t-worx. I have known Tracy for quite some years now and he always creates not only gorgeous designs, but he is a master craftsman when it comes to building the hidden aspects of skins. If you want to learn how to create skins the right way, use his skins as a reference of best practices when it comes to DNN skin development. This week he comes forward with another nice responsive skin called NatureSkin Responsive Skins. It looks great on a desktop and beautiful on a mobile device. If you see a skin by t-worx rest assured you cannot go wrong with it!
