Hi Aderson,

So finally I tried enabling js and css minification and composite files.

I got errors javascript errors on page load so disabled them again.

I was trying to think how it would work.

I use ClientResourceManager.RegisterScript & ClientResourceManager.RegisterStyleSheet, so at the point I enable the above options DNN knows nothing about the files my app requires. This can only happen on page load so is there any possibility that a single minified file is created at that point? It doesn't seem so as I received errors but I would be happy to test this out a bit more if you think it should in fact work.

The errors of course mean I can't even have the standard js and css files minified.

Best Regards,

Steve

Hi Steve,

DNN should somehow be aware of your files as you are using ClientResourceManager.RegisterScript & ClientResourceManager.RegisterStyleSheet - That might be my wrong assumptions, but that is my understanding.

I don't have experience building a module using these though. So it either doens't work like this or we are doing something else wrong.

Hi Aderson,

I didn't test it very thoroughly as it was my live site.

I will try it on the installation on my local machine and try a few refreshes to see if it corrects itself.

I wish I knew how to see what's going on.

The errors I got indicated that js files from my app were missing.

Steve
